so much more than a snack...

if there is one thing ive learned on the ROAD, its that we all need to eat regularly to maintain our composure (and that is directed at no one in particular...we all suffer from the direct proportionality of blood sugar to tolerance of others). so i want to take just a moment to recommend guava paste rolls (yes, you can buy them at trader joe's, but if to are in proximity of a korean goods store, they have a richer selection) as the snack to help pull you through. their thick and chewy richness has saved the band from breaking up 4 times in the last week alone. this solid roll of paste acts like a shot of pure adrenaline or a tumbler of straight whisky. boom! youre awake! and if, in a low blood sugar spiral, you toss one at a bandmate, they are light enough to not cause physical pain. feel free to bring guava paste rolls to the next show you attend; ill totally sign the box.

resist, above all else, resist!

recently kitty and i had the awful experience of being addressed with sexy whistles at a show. you can see in the picture at left exactly how we responded. well, how things started...soon after kit removed her head from her hands she pointed into the crowd at the offending whistler. i, having breathed the richness and serenity of communally farmed city-space into my lungs, reopened my eyes and took the steps down from the stage, followed kit's point and, standing facing the oppressor from less than a foot away, asked that i please be told exactly what about kitty or i drove him to whistle in a sexually suggestive manner. i asked him to look me in the face and whistle. the oppressor then turned and left the room, asking a friend on his way out, "what the hell just happened?" cunt gun happened.

welcome to the blog...

its day 850 of the band cunt gun and finally we got our blog up and running. there was a problem where kitty had to trade co-op hours for time spent repairing our laptop (i dont do co-ops...too many loose beans bring me back to darker days) and we were on the ROAD too much to really tally up a good amount of workswomanship,

but finally we are up. so, fans, im writing from an intentional living space in annapolis, maryland that just happens to have great wi-fi. so ill certainly be updating frequently with our exploits. we are back home in chicago next monday, april 7th to play the globe gong idol show at the globe pub. new songs will be released at that event!
